MY2026.5 Double Cab safety recall — B-pillar trim
This recall concerns selected MY2026.5 Ford Ranger Double Cab vehicles only, not every Ranger. On affected vehicles, B-pillar trim may interact with the side-curtain airbag during inflation and prevent it from deploying as intended. No public NZ VIN or build-range list was published in the sources checked; eligibility is VIN-specific.
Owner action: Owners and buyers should enter the vehicle's VIN in Ford New Zealand's official recall checker. Ford's stated remedy is replacement of the affected B-pillar trim by an authorised dealer at no charge. Tradie Wheels cannot determine whether an individual vehicle is affected.
