The New Zealand shortlist now includes the Farizon V7E and SV, Ford E-Transit and E-Transit Custom, Kia PV5, and LDV eDeliver 9 where stock and support are confirmed. Other names remain visible only with an explicit availability check.
- ✓Medium vans: Farizon V7E, Kia PV5, E-Transit Custom
- ✓Large vans: Ford E-Transit, Farizon SV, eDeliver 9 subject to stock
- ✓Compact vans: verify current local order status
- ✓Do not treat an overseas model page as proof of NZ availability
Model the loaded duty cycle
Range changes with payload, speed, hills, weather, heating, towing and repeated stops. Use actual routes and planned fit-out mass, then preserve an operational buffer for detours and battery ageing.
Build the charging plan
Confirm site capacity, charger output, cable access, dwell time, tariffs, vehicle scheduling and what happens when a van returns late. Public fast charging can support exceptions but should not automatically become the operating plan.
