Payload, tub and work-body choice
Tasman publishes 1,013–1,365kg payload, up to 1,212L VDA tub volume and current single/double cab-chassis or wellside choices. Triton publishes up to 1,000kg with its own cab-chassis and wellside range. Permanent drawers, canopy, crew and tow-ball load must come off those starting figures.
Both tow 3.5t—on paper
Both publish 3,500kg braked towing. The practical result depends on the exact grade's GCM, payload, axle limits, tow equipment and trailer frequency. Ask for a written combination check.
Urban/site and rural use
Tasman's tub and equipment can work for service trades and mixed routes, while both ranges can support trays and specialised gear. Rural buyers should compare 4WD modes, tyres, dealer distance and downtime on a representative loaded route.
Price, warranty and servicing
Tasman has a published $43,690 + ORC start in the shared record; compare against the exact Triton grade rather than a temporary offer. Itemise tow kit, body, accessories, servicing, warranty conditions, finance and delivery.
